The coronavirus is affecting the anime industry left right and center. With multiple anime's being cancelled, delayed, pushed back and even anime conventions and exibitions being cancelled.

We can only expect more of this as the year plays out, and the industry may not make as much money this year as long as this keeps getting worse.

The cornavirus is causing a lot of havoc across the world, and in this case - Japan.

Many different shows have been delayed or cancelled, whether they're airing or not, and Re:Zero Season 2 is one of them.

The anime was originally planned for April 2020, as I already covered. But their official website confirmed it's being pushed back to July 2020. Unless they end up pushing it back more or changing the dates when everything is smoothed out with the cornavirus scare.

Anime is one of purest art forms out there in 2020 and beyond. Not many other industries or art forms can say that. 

Especially with the way the US (to a degree) is bowing down to political correctness and the bullshit that comes with it.

Anime culture vultures are popping up left right and center in the past 5+ years.

It seems everyone's trying to make money off anime and then disappear without a care for the culture.

Netflix, Gamespot, CBR and many other sites and companies are examples with a hint of "culture vulture" in them.

There was a rumor going around that Funimation fired a translator and forced them to sign an NDA to avoid trouble. This happened after Funimation cancelled Ishuzoku Reviewers.

Anime Motivation originally broke the news long before anyone else. And the translator responded with their own comments on social media.

Outrage culture on Twitter is out of hand in the anime industry. And even with entertainment in general.

In 2018 it was Darling In The Franxx, 2019 was Shield Hero, and 2020 is My Hero Academia. 

The one thing all these anime have in common is public outrage and the outrage mob on Twitter.

I predict it'll die out in the next few years.

Ahegao clothing is being banned left right and center at many conventions across the west.

One of the first times this happened was in the UK, in Newcastle in particular. Since November 2019 other conventions have followed suit and are changing their policies.

But there's a little bit of hypocrisy with SOME of these conventions.  Some of them allow practically naked cosplayers to walk around, despite kids being at these conventions. And yet use that same logic to ban Ahegao clothing.

These 2 anime have been announced on January 22nd 2020. 

Log Horizon hasn't had a season in over 5+ years and now the Isekai is gonna continue on from where season 2 left off.

NHK and Studio Deen will be working on it.

The Witcher on the other hand is being turned into an anime film by Netflix.
