Joseph is attacked by the fallen Hamon master Straizo, now an immortal vampire, and becomes aware of a looming threat. An elderly Robert E.O. Speedwagon is being held captive by Nazis, who are experimenting on a mysterious Stone Pillar. JoJo travels to Mexico to rescue his old family friend, but he may be too late to stop the dangerous lifeform sleeping within that stone. We invite our listeners to crack open a cold Coco Cola and don a 100% beetle scarf for today's Hamon-infused episode of Anime Was (Not) A Mistake!

Just in time for Halloween, our Sinister Six event rears its ugly head with 2017's The Bye Bye Man. After discovering a strange nightstand (yes, you're reading that correctly), a trio of college students are haunted by a ghoulish entity known as the Bye Bye Man. He's got coins, a dog, a coat, and an unexplained loved of trains. Elliot, who is sadly our main character, searches for answers in order stop this deadly curse. His quest leads him to the local library and nowhere else, really. All the while, Elliot and his friends descend into madness as the Bye Bye Man grows closer. Probably. The Bye Bye Man is pretty hands-off, all things considered. We invite you to light up a burrito and grab a slice of sad pizza for today's mayonnaise-filled episode of Anime Was (Not) A Mistake! Our podcast must contend with yet another smug vampire as JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Phantom Blood comes to a close. Having survived the inferno at Joestar Manor, Dio Brando is determined to conquer the world. The young Jonathan Joestar finds his idyllic life overturned by the arrival of the wicked Dio Brando. What starts as a conflict between brothers takes a turn for the bizarre when an ancient Stone Mask comes into play. The mask allows Dio to shed his humanity (or what little he had left) in exchange for supernatural powers and immortality. JoJo must accept his destiny and wield a few special powers of his own in order to save the world from Dio. Along the way he'll have to contend with street toughs, switchblade hats, and names that are bound to cause copyright issues. Hiroyuki Imaishi's Promare focuses on the dynamic relationship between young firefighter Galo Thymos and Mad Burnish leader Lio Fotia. We can't handle the imminent outbreak of war, the shocking rise of beef prices, or getting those big bloody bulls into that big bloody metal ship!
