Anime Wave Podcast

We talk about the light that turned everyone into stone, the dedicated man of science who is trying to reverse it and the cult leader that is happy to live without toilets.

Part 1 of Attack on Titan ends with a bang! And it's been a minute since we spoke about it still. So it's about that time we discussed all the madness that took part in the season. Including Eren's motives, Levi's savagery, Zeke's overconfidence and so much more.

Episodes 12 - 20 showed us ALOT in terms of how the Tokyo Manji gang (or Tokyo Manji Mandem) came to be, to we could help but discuss Mikey's brothers death, the all out brawl that broke out and how Takemichi is stilllll moving like a bitch in the midst of war. Even though he want to be the head of the gang one day?

We tackle a popular debate that comes up in every conversation. Which anime do you like better, subbed or dubbed?

We link up and talk about how Azien was moving in Bleach, the end of The Promised Neverland (now that Sam has watched the final episode lol) and more.

Should we (or someone) do an anime opening Verzuz?

Nerve Gear, Trapped gamers, Dual wielding and 100 floors to climb?! We dive into season one of Sword Art Online and talk about the good, the bad and the madness.

We take a look at another anime that has got the streets talking, looking at storyline, where we think it will go, Mikey's sweet chin music and our main Crybaby Superhero 😂

The end of The Promised Neverland  was a SHIT SHOW 😂

It had everyone everywhere asking 'WHAT WAS THAT ENDING?!' For an anime that started out strong, and was a fan favourite, it makes us wonder....Will we every get to see the promise this anime once showed?

Recently, Netflix released an original anime series called Yasuke which tells the story of an African Samurai living in Japan. The interesting thing is, for those who don't know, Yasuke is not fictional character.

Yasuke was an African born Samurai who served under the famous Oda Nobunaga from 1579 - 1582. He was a former slave and the first foreign-born man,  in Japanese history, to obtain the rank of Samurai.

So when we heard Netflix was set to release a series based on him, we  jumped at the chance to not only talk about the anime, but pay this warrior his flowers.
