  • Ep. 3 - The Jesus of Our Soul w/ Talib Karriem
We’re taught, “the highest form of communication is language that is used to communicate the wisdom of God.” -The Honourable Minister Louis Farrakhan. In this discourse, Brother Talib Karriem - student of THMLF and member of the Nation of Islam, and interim director of The Muhammad University International, Chicago & outstanding photographer joins me to discuss the glory of the human soul and what’s comes after pain. We discuss the Rumi poem where he states, “our body is like Mary. Each of us has a Jesus inside. If a pain and yearning shows up inside us, the Jesus of our soul is born”. We pray this is a treat for your heart.

  • Ep. 2 - Love & Revolution w/ Muhammad Muwakil
Rumi has said this, " Soemtimes, I forget completely what companionship is. Unconscious and insane, I spill sad energy everywhere. This happens to me, too. At times, I forget that what I represent is useful at a time like this. Love. Mercy. Grace. Depth. Softness. Femininity. Adab.
When this happens, I either go toward seclusion or toward, as Rumi would say, "A heart that is glad". This time I did the latter. I called on my beloved friend, Muhammad.
It's so essential for me to have companions on The Path that also carry a Divine Sweetness in their heart. This is Muhammad. A soft place, a place to come as I am. This is a form of religion: friendship, coming as we are. I thank God for friends. If you need reassurance that Love does have a place in a time such as this, remember our Prophets (and their companions). Remember our Revolutionaries. Remember the mercy of your mother's womb. Here in the earth womb, some of us continue to represent the Mercy of God. There will always be a place for us. U could also listen to this conversation.
May your heart find peace. As you are. Ps. I forgot to tell y’all muhammad is a superb artist. check out his work @wearefreetown even more important the way muhammad is with words, or how they are with him, make the heart aware. The eyes water. The ears smile. A true gift. @anyanwuchild.

  • Lineage of Love

Love - the state closest to God.

Synonyms: Tubman, Louverture, Turner, Nanny, Ali, Rumi, Sebi, etc.

You’ve heard our peers make statements like, “we are not our grandparents”? I would say this, “u don’t even amount”.

  • I Can
    I call every piece
    Of my severed soul
    Back to me. ✨
    The piece lying in
    Tears at the feet of
    My mother. ✨
    Come. ✨
    The pieces lying in
    Blood, spilling over the
    Palms of unfit lovers. ✨
    Come. ✨
    The pieces buried low in
    The Atlantic
    Waiting to be recovered. ✨
    Come back. ✨
    I can carry you now.
    With love,
    Ankhet

  • Blessed Earthstrong Beloved Rumi.
We pray for the blessings of those who saw what we hope to see, and became what we wish to be. For all the generations before us. Regardless of religion or creed. We give thanks for the lineage of Love.

  • Ep. 1 - Discourse on Devotional Sufi Poetry w/ Dr. Bilal Ware
“You know the North Star that Saint Harriet followed to freedom? You have One inside you.”
If you find truth and walk away....”it would make you a hypocrite. And that’s what we strive to escape...”
Discourse on devotional Sufi poetry with Dr. Bilal Ware.
By the blessings of all who walked this path of Love, who saw what we hope to see and became what we hope to become. We thank them for the grains of sand leading back to this Ocean.
In this discourse, we go over the, “Goal of Creation”. We answer the question, “what came first, the branch or the fruit?”
This arrangement of words here: “The outward form of these stars maintains our world. But our inward reality maintains the heavens.” This is the pinnacle of our conversation.
Jalal al-din Balkhī Rumi has said this, “Do you know who you are? You are a manuscript of a Divine Letter, a mirror reflecting that Face”.
What does all this mean if “Who You Are”, is not beneficial for all humanity? God teaches, “I’m in the human heart”. So what does it truly mean to serve another human? “The way to God is in the human heart”.
Dr. Bilal Ware sums this all up for us beautifully towards the end of our discussion.
“What happens when we are serving other human beings?” If you’ve come across this discussion, I pray that it serves your heart. 🌊🌊
