Though she works for CMHA, Michelle is headquartered at New Britain Police Department. She shares her experiences riding alongside officers to mental health crisis’, and what her role is before, during and after a situation.
Michelle also plays a valuable role in the community as a mental health advocate. Through that she was able to speak about the importance of being proactive as opposed to reactive in crisis situations and even guides us through some mindful meditation to alleviate stress.
