Welcome to this daily devotional podcast — Another Day in His Steps.
Today’s Word is from Leviticus 5 — where the guilt offering made a way for those who had sinned, even unknowingly, to be made right with God.
Guilt was never meant to be carried — it was meant to be confessed and exchanged.
In Leviticus, the guilt offering wasn’t just about the act of sacrifice. It was about owning the truth, facing the fault, and offering it up to a God who redeems.
It wasn’t about hiding the shame, but healing through surrender.
The cross of Jesus became our final guilt offering — not to suppress our guilt, but to remove it entirely.
He didn’t just cover sin; He canceled the debt.
Today’s episode is a reminder that you don’t have to pretend you’re fine when your soul is heavy.
The altar is still open — and Jesus is still enough.
Bring what’s broken. Bring what’s buried.
Because guilt loses its grip when grace takes its place.
Let the Word remind you: Confession is not condemnation — it’s the doorway to restoration.
And when you come clean before God, you don’t leave exposed — you leave embraced.
Come back to the altar — not with what’s hidden, but with what’s honest.
