JamesRadio and Robptomist Prime are back from their self imposed Bye Week to talk Dolphins football!  Should we root for 0-16 (no, we shouldn't) - Do we need the first pick in the draft? (It would be nice, but we don't NEED it) Can Rosen be the guy? (mayyyybe? - At this point, he's not 'not the guy').

All this and more!  They recap the forever ago game against the Chargers.  (Has a 20 point loss ever felt so close?)

Talk about the upcoming game against the 'Skins (Spoiler alert - Robptomist thinks we win) followed by Pickwatch 2020™ and Fantasy Camp!™

Let's go Fins (I don't want to be 0-16)

Phinsider Daily is a new spin-off of Phinsider Radio and now, we’ll be coming to you five days a week for all your Miami Dolphins information.

The flagship show of Matthew Cannata, Josh Houtz, and Aaron Sutton continues for its 4th season. In addition to that, Matt (Monday), A-A-Ron (Tuesday), and Josh (Wednesday) will bring their own 20-30 minute podcast to the world wide internet.

Without further ado, here’s my (houtz) preview of the Dolphins’ Week 6 matchup vs Washington, in what many are calling the ‘Tank for Tua’ Bowl. I also discuss Barry Jackson’s latest article and tell you why NO ONE has the right to tell you how to be a ‘fan’.

On today’s episode of Phinsider Daily, I break down the Dolphins’ week 6 matchup vs the Redskins. Who will be Washington’s QB in the ever important ‘Tank for Tua’ Bowl? How will the ‘Skins look with new HC Bill Callahan? Could he ignite a flame, much like Dan Campbell did with the Dolphins many years ago?

I then break down the latest news on the 2020 QB class. How did Jordan Love do vs LSU? Did Justin Herbert take a step back after his dismal performance vs California? Is Joe Burrows legit? And where does Jake Fromm stand after another solid performance?

Lastly, I discuss

After spending episode 31 looking at non-Tua life in Miami next spring, we give the people what they want: Tua in Miami with the top overall pick. But what happens once the Dolphins snag their franchise QB? Do they draft a tackle, a pass-rusher or a skill-position weapon? We'll consider all of the options and give our take regarding what the Dolphins should do with their additional 1s in the 2020 NFL Draft.

I interview Matt Vice (@MrStrongStyle), one of my favorite members of Dolphins Twitter. Having seen an emotionally-disturbing game with him live already, we’ll preview the Redskins and Dolphins game at Hard Rock Stadium this Sunday. How bizarre is this game going to be?All this and more on this episode of Phinsider Daily!

There's no doubt that the 2019 Miami Dolphins are losing now so they can win later, but how exactly do they get to that "win" part? Does it all hinge on them landing Tua next spring, or is there an alternate path to glory should they miss out on that ultra-coveted top pick in the 2020 NFL Draft? We'll look at both scenarios and scratch the surface of what is certain to be a long-discussed set of draft strategies this season.

The Miami Dolphins head into the Week 5 bye after baaaaaaaaaaarely getting edged 30-10 Sunday at Hard Rock Stadium.

Houtz is taking the night off (we love you Joshua), and Matthew Cannata and A-A-Ron Sutton are gonna get up on their soapbox. The 2020 NFL Draft is at the forefront of many Dolphins fans minds, and other fan bases of struggling teams are reaching that conclusion as well. We’re here to tell you to look at draft prospects in a fluid fashion over the course of the season instead of rigidly clutching to the ideas that you are omniscient. It’s an exercise in failure. Conversations are OK! Having an open mind is OK!

The Miami Dolphins return to Hard Rock Stadium to take on the Los Angeles Chargers before heading into the Week 5 bye. Can the Dolphins cover the +17 spread?

Matthew Cannata, Joshua Houtz, and A-A-Ron Sutton will probably engage in some tomfoolery as well, and pretend like we’re sitting at the bar shooting the s***. Let’s face it, jokes help this bitter pill go down a little easier.

On today’s episode of Phinsider Daily, I break down the good, the bad, and the ugly from Josh Rosen’s first start with the Dolphins. Did he do enough good to earn the starting job for the rest of the season? Does he have the chance to be Miami’s long-term starter?

I then shift focus to the 2020 NFL draft and discuss the Dolphins’ biggest needs on day one. How does the current draft order look, if the season were to end today? And of course, we discuss the man, the myth, and the legend, Tua Tagovailoa. Does Miami have a legit opportunity to land the generational passer? Or could he end up with a division rival in New York Jersey?

Lastly, I talk about what we can expect from the 2019 Dolphins and whether or not there's a light at the end of the tunnel.  #TrustTheProcess
