For Matt’s next pick of the Festival, he decided to give the Rommies a really bad time by selecting Denis Villeneuve’s 2013 American breakout. After weeks of prelude, the Rommies have finally made it to the film that inspired Tierney’s entire theme of this year’s festival. Listen in as Tierney sings her highest praises of this innovative take on a sports biopic (“bye-opic”? “bio-pick”?), Matt and Collin harmonize over their love of the incredible comedic chops of Paul Walter Hauser, and the Rommies collectively work their way through the deep ensemble of excellent needle drops sprinkled throughout the movie.

In a surprising turn of events, Collin’s next selection for the Festival was quite well received by The Rommies across the board! Did that mean that they would show this classic the respect it deserves? In an unsurprising turn of events, nope!
