Geeta identifies as a South Asian woman over 50. She has two daughters, and has been married for over 32 years. She completed higher education after having children and is a lecturer at Brunel University. She completed her doctorate in black feminist exploration of academically successful South Asian girls. She also runs a community social enterprise, which focuses on migration and food stories, and has a focus on intergenerational wisdom. In addition to this, she runs a writer's group, and is in the process of currently writing a book with this community. On top of that, she also runs a monthly walking group in the countryside with the focus being to help support women of color to embrace nature and to engage in conversations for well being.

Aruna set up Asian Single Parents back in 2011 because she found at the time that many of her friends were in couples or were doing their otherwise preoccupied with their significant others. Aruna wanted company for herself and her daughter to go out and do other activities. She found by starting Asian Single Parents that there were many other people in the same boat who wanted to talk to others and understood what Aruna was going through.

Angela Rideau, is a spoken word poet with a debut poetry collection called Honeybee, where she explore topics of trauma, femininity, motherhood, and living within the South Asian diaspora with the aim of healing and opening up a discussion to explore taboo topics and difficult topics through the medium of poetry. Angela also has a podcast, Poems for my Heart, which also explores taboos.

Madhu Kapoor started M for Menupause having experienced severe menopausal symptoms whilst she was employed and not knowing what to do. Following this, she abruptly left her job of over 23 years. Having no support at the time, Madhu didn't feel comfortable talking to anyone at her place of work and subsequently felt lonely. It was through this experience that M for Menopause was established.

When Chitra Peña became the mother of two Indian Puerto Rican daughters, she embarked on a mission to preserve and share culture with her girls through language. Through her company, Taarimaa, which launched in 2019, Chitra creates resources that teach language and emotional intelligence. Her goal is to make native languages fun and approachable to parents and children alike, and to help them build strong bonds.
She encourages breaking toxic generational cycles by sparking tough questions, many of which are inspired by her continued personal journey of unlearning and finding self love. Chitra strives to change the narrative of what it means to be a South Asian family.

Saz Vora was born in East Africa and migrated with her family to England in the 60s, growing up with British and Gujarati culture. She has written two books, and is currently compiling her next one. These are called My Heart Sings Your Song and Where Have We Come, which is a story in two parts about love, loss and family. The second book in the series is based on true events that have shaped her outlook on life's trials and tribulations.
Before Saz started writing, she had a successful career in television production, teaching, but her need to write stories has led to what she is doing right now - writing stories that is so relevant to us about people in multicultural Britain.
