We’ve got a spooky story about witches …technically… just in time for Halloween! Is it a magic movie? Or maybe it’s just hot guys swimming? Who knows what The Covenant is? Micah Renee Black, from the Below Freezing podcast, might!
For a movie about retcons and changing the order of events, it's amazing how many rewrites and reshoots went into Back to the Future! Case is joined by Allan Fuks to go back in time and appreciate a movie that seemed densitied for greatness, but really had to pave its own road...whether it needed it or not!
The world is changing. To compete in this new era, we need the best of the best, so Case assembled the crack team of Hans Martin Jr. and Steven Angulo to tackle the lackluster nostalgia cash grab, G.I. Joe: The RIse of Cobra. Can these real American heroes scout a way to a better film?
Magic may require magic to crush and drive before you, but Case and Pat Edwards have had enough talk. Tune in to hear them lament about Conan the Destroyer!
Also, if dark magic mixed with swords and sandals is your thing, check out the kickstarter for the D&D adventure that Pat wrote, “The Red Opera”!
The CineGuy himself, Steven Angulo, is here to chat with Case about the movie he threatened/demanded, 2002’s “The Master of Disguise”. Can they dress up the infamous flop in the guise of a success? Probably not, but they’re going to try.
Case has Caleb Ference, of Lore Party and Carpe Ludos fame, and Sam Alicea on to talk about the perplexing adaptation of the Alan Moore classic Batman tale, The Killing Joke. Who will have the last laugh? Tune in to find out!
We're talking about the 1984 cult classic, The Toxic Avenger, today and how it went right! To do that, Case gets a chance to talk to Mark Torgl, who was the script supervisor on the movie as well as the actor who played the human form of The Toxic Avenger himself. He also chats with Mitch Punpayuk from Geek Elite Media at the top and bottom of the show about the property as a whole!
This episode is dedicated to Nick Cordero and Geoff Waltz, who worked on The Toxic Avenger Musical with Case during its Off-Broadway run back in 2009 and whom we lost this year.

Sci-Fi novelist, Peter F. Smith, is back to remind Case that the 2005 Will Smith vehicle, “I, Robot”… exists. Also to dwell on the automated future that serves as the backdrop for a murder mystery that vaguely is connected to the works of Isaac Asimov.

Case welcomes Anna Grindrod-Feeny (@annalionhearted) from The Circle of Friendship podcast on to travel back to the good half of 2001 and rock out while wearing long tails and ears for hats! That’s right! We’re talking about a movie that was critically panned but fondly and vividly remembered by Millennial women, Josie and the Pussycats!

It’s sink or swim time! Case has Will Carey, host of the Between Awesome and Disaster podcast, on to float some ideas on the colossally successful 1997 film, Titanic. Will their ideas tread water or are they doomed to be submerged in the minutiae?
