Hey there. My name is Cal Spivey, and this is Another Read Through. Well—the podcast version. Another Read Through is the independent bookstore in Portland Oregon where I have worked since 2015. This year we’re dipping our toes into podcasting, because if we can’t stop talking about books, we may as well engage as many people as possible in the conversation. So consider this season of Another Read Through an experimental dialogue. We have three kinds of episodes for you: fave swaps, in which two of Another Read Through’s staff recommend a book to each other, then get together to discuss; author interviews, to introduce you to some of our favorite Portland authors; and a bookseller chat, in which a couple of booksellers talk about the business.
