Johnnie Putman and Steve King have yet another show stuffed full of a bunch of guests, almost as stuffed as a pierogi! Following the recent birthday for Steve, there is more than enough reason to celebrate!

Joseph Crispen and the Crispen Gang (a.k.a. his parents) are in town for the first of a two part in studio appearance. We’ll save the tech talk for next week with Patrick; this time, it’s the Joseph Show! We learn about his latest Chicago adventures and a nifty Lego radio he built for Steve’s birthday!

Next up is Tony Panek, who might be better known as Mr Pierogi, for a mouth watering chat about Pierogi Fest! It’s an annual festival in Whiting, Indiana dedicated to the palatable pockets of Polish patisserie. This year was a big one as the Fest celebrated its 30th year!

Then we have Chuck Mead, Co-founder of the alt country group BR5-49, fellow radio host down in Nashville, and a masterclass of talent in the Americana music scene. He stops by to chat and promote a few Midwest appearances including SPACE in Evanston and Shank Hall in Milwaukee!

As usual, we get our routine automotive check-in with Consumer Guide Automotive Publisher Tom Appel. We have some more of Tom’s Tunes, a few interesting test drives, and a round up of recalls regarding hazardous Toyota engines, lethal BMW airbags and an odd update for all of you Maserati owners out there.

We also jam to some morsels from Steve and Johnnie’s Life After Dark CD, and stick around for a few reviews for movies that are new, old and really old!
