Our saga begins 6000 years ago, in a small hunter gatherer village on the Pontic Steppe. This is the flat grasslands north of the Black Sea, in modern day Eastern Ukraine. Life was simple in the village, and revolved around herd animals, hunting, and fishing. This was life before writing, before farming, and before the advance of Horse riding. It is in this tiny village of Proto-Indo-Europeans that half of the modern day languages descended from. It is here that we start our story, with a small young lad named Shrew.
Every incident has an antecedent, and every individual has an ancestor. This chain of Antecedors is unbroken. Follow this family through the eons of time, through 6000 years of history... where every story told, comes from the next generation.
