This week, Matt Larson teaches through 1 Corinthians 11:17-34, where we see Paul give instruction on communion. The real issue at hand though isn't communion itself, but the fragments that people were creating that distracted us from our common mission of Jesus.

This week Matt continues teaching on 1 Corinthians through 11:1-16, where we see Paul begin a new section in this letter (chapters 11-14) that are all about what happens when the Corinthian church was gathering. This passage specifically is a challenging one, but in it we get to see a continued call to keep honoring Jesus and making choices that keep others' needs before our own.

This week, Matt Larson teaches through 1 Corinthians 10:23-33, where we see Paul continue to give instruction on how to understand food that was sacrificed to idols, and how to make choices that are ultimately for the benefit of others around us.

This week, Matt teaches through 1 Corinthians 10:14-22 on walking by the Spirit, like Christ, in a broken and hurting world.

This week, Matt teaches through 1 Corinthians 10:1-14 where he continues Paul's message of relying on God's grace, balanced with understanding the consequences of sin.

This week, Matt teaches through 1 Corinthians 9:19-27. Our freedom in Christ means we no longer work to earn our salvation, as Jesus has completed all requirements. Our new purpose is to live as servants of Jesus, and to bring others to Him.

This week, Steve Larson teaches through 1 Corinthians 9:1-18. We are encouraged to grow in our spiritual maturity, where we find joy in becoming a "bondservant" to Jesus by living for him daily.

This week, Matt picks back up teaching though 1st Corinthians chapter 8 on how the more rooted believer should consider his actions in light of new believers.
