In his first week back from his trip to South Africa, Matt Larson shares with us about finding our identity in being a son or daughter of God. This should fill us with inexpressible joy and gladness!

Bert Alcorn teaches us that if the Gospel is true, we owe nothing to the flesh. We are obligation free, life comes from the Spirit and he truly frees us to live in Christ. We no longer live like we owe anything to the flesh. We were bought with a price and given the Spirit to walk as sons and daughters of God.

Kevin Bailey takes us through Romans 8:11 where we see Paul make reference to a future resurrection of our mortal bodies for those who are in Christ Jesus.

Bert Alcorn teaches us again that because Jesus demonstrated the power of the Spirit in his resurrection, we can explore what it means to live a resurrection life in the full power of the Spirit.

Matt Larson teaches us that the battle of the mind is where many of our battles are won or lost… as we grow in our understanding and ability to set the mind on the Spirit, we see victory and joy in a life victorious over sin.

There are times when it feels like it would be easier if we just had a new law, some set of rules to walk by, rather than the ambiguity of life in the Spirit… But God has established a truth that we are not judged by our ability or inability to fulfill the Law, but that Jesus has fully fulfilled the Law and that righteousness is applied to us so that we are now free to walk in the Spirit.

In our first full week in Romans 8, Matt Larson shows us that as a result of who Jesus is, and what he accomplished through his life, death and resurrection, there is absolutely no wrath of God left to be poured out on you!

On Fathers' Day, Matt Larson takes a week to walk us through the transition between our series in Ephesians and our series through Romans 8 called, "The Spirit Filled Life."

In the last four verses of Ephesians, Matt Larson uses the opportunity to share about how we at Anthem, much like Paul, are a sending group who exists to send the message of Jesus to all areas of our globe.
