We continue in Esther in chapter 5 through 6, and see how Haman's pride reveals our own pride, and our need for the cross.

This week we look at one of the most dramatic chapters in all the Bible. Haman's evil plan comes to fruition as we see how sin's curse affects us all. And we see how Mordecai and Esther look to God's power to help them risk everything.

We begin our series in the Old Testament book of Esther; a beautiful story about God working an incredible salvation for his people. Today we look at the context of the story in the Big Story of God, and the difference it makes for us today.

We finish our series in 1 John looking at 1 John 5:13-21. In it we discover John gives us amazing encouragement that we have assurance in prayer, in divine protection, and in eternal life.

In our second to last message in 1 John, we walk through what it means to be "born again" in 1 John 5:1-12, and see how it can give us amazing assurance and confidence.

This week we look at one of the most beautiful chapters of the whole Bible: 1 John 4. Within it we see the wonder of "God is love" and how that changes everything for us.

Pastor Steve shows us the link between the call for us to be holy and the hope of what God has done for us.

Continuing in 1 John 2:18-29 we see how John moves from discussing what right living looks like as a follower of Jesus to how important right beliefs are, focusing on the doctrine of the triune nature of God.

We continue through 1 John, looking at chapter 2:3-17, and how John gives us three ways we can know if our hearts have been truly changed by God's grace, and the promises to back them up.

We continue in 1 John 1:5-2:6 and see what John means when he says "God is light" and how it relates to three specific lies we can believe about our sin.
