We look at Philippians 4:4-9 to see how Paul defines what a successful new year looks like in the Kingdom of God.

At this busy time of year there can be a lot of competing songs playing in our hearts. But the Song of Christmas is one that truly changes everything, and reveals the song we were all made for. We walk through the Christmas Story in Luke, Matthew, & John to see what the Song of Christmas is all about.

In our second-to-last week in James we look at the two kinds of words God always speaks to us, and look at what planning in the Kingdom of God should look like, as well as what God says about injustice and those who commit do it.

We walk through a challenging Scripture in James 4:1-12 and talk about what causes divisions amongst people in church, and learn much of it goes back to our own pride.

We continue through the book of James and see what he says is one of the hardest things to do: tame your tongue. We learn that our words have the power to bring both life and death.

How does our faith relate to what we do? Should our faith make any difference in the good we do? Steve navigates through James 2:14-26 and shows us that if we really grasp the nature of what God has done for us in Jesus, we will truly live transformed lives.

Our 2nd message from the Book of James focuses on James 1:19-2:13. James talks to us about not just being hearrers of the Bible but also doers, and about how the gospel leads us to show no partiality.

In our final message of the Mere Shadows series we look at the wonderful gift of sex, but also the ways it can all go wrong. Adam & Eve and their marriage set the stage for this final idol and how Jesus alone provides the way to true freedom.
