To start our 5-part series on the Psalms DJ walks us through how Psalm 1 sets up the entire book, contrasting 2 different ways to live. The Psalmist tells us the way to a fully happy life is by trusting and basing our lives on not in what other people say, but in the Scriptures.

We conclude our Ruth series looking at the heart of why we do anything wrong in the first place, and see how Ruth is gloriously connected to Jesus redeeming the whole world.

Jason walks us through the dramatic chapter 3 of the Book of Ruth, and shows us how it points us to faith, righteousness, and hope, and how the characters point us to how those things are ultimately met in Jesus.

We continue our series in Ruth diving into the second chapter, where we see a contrast between our current cultural values and the way Ruth calls us to value something deeper. We begin our new series in the Book of Ruth looking at the first chapter together.It shows us the beginning of one of the most beautiful stories in all of the Bible, and how the bitterness that Naomi experiences is not the end of the story for her or for us.

We close up our time in Colossians by looking at Paul's final words and greetings at the end of his letter. We see how Paul's companions point to our need for true community, and we learn a few lessons from 3 of those companions, some encouraging, and some warning us.

In our second-to-last message from Colossians Jason walks us through Paul's words on prayer and what it looks like to continue in it together. In addition Jason helps us in how to interact with our community with grace & in light of the gospel.

Our series in the Letter to the Colossians continues as Paul speaks into how we walk with Jesus in the God-given roles we play. He tells us about being wives & husbands, children & parents, and for our context employees & employers. And Paul shows how all those roles are telling us something very profound about the Story of God.

Often today people say that to be truly human is to "be true to yourself" and live out every desire you have. But the Apostle Paul shows us a different way: Fullness of life is found in denying the old self within us and putting on the new us through Christ. And different than religion, Paul's message is to become who we already are.

Walking through Colossians 2:16-23, DJ shares how the Apostle Paul called out the false teaching going on in the Church of Colossae, and how it helps us today clarify what Christianity is, how it is fundamentally different than religion.
