  • Chapter 10: Falling to the bottom

In the last episode of the first season of Antihero Unplugged, I share a story about my brother and his friend José. José was mean to my brother, but when he asked if everything was okay at home, José opened up about his parents' divorce. It made me realize how important it is to treat others with kindness.

I also talk about an experiment with two plants: one treated with praise and the other with negativity. The praised plant thrived, while the other withered. This taught me how powerful words can be and how they affect people's growth. We all need positive support, and if you're in a toxic environment, it's time to make a change.

  • Chapter 9: The Lorax and the tree

In this episode of Anti Hero Unplugged, I reflect on a powerful lesson from The Lorax by Dr. Seuss: “A tree falls the way it leans. Be careful which way you lean.” I talk about how our attitudes, habits, and choices—big or small—determine the direction we take in life. I share a story about my little brother feeling frustrated with his basketball performance and how what we say can shape our actions and beliefs. I encourage you to be mindful of your everyday decisions, because even the smallest positive or negative choices can lead us down different paths. By leaning into kindness, patience, and intention, we can shape our lives and influence those around us in meaningful ways.

  • Chapter 6: The fear of growing up

In this 6th episode, I talk about the fear and anxiety that come with growing up. I reflect on memories from my childhood, like the excitement of moving up to middle school, and how those moments feel distant now as I face the reality of getting older. Recently, I joined the prestigious MUN Secretariat class, and with it came a new sense of responsibility that terrified me. I discuss how the fear of growing up is normal but remind myself—and you—that growth and embracing challenges are part of the journey. I encourage everyone to confront their fear, trust in their ability to face it, and see adulthood as a series of opportunities.
