Both history and the bible is full of stories of people being healed, but does God still heal today? Today we hear about how the things that God has already done are simply a sign of what God intends to do again.

Naaman was a highly regarded commander of the army of the king. He was a valiant soldier, but there was one problem, he had leprosy. This incurable disease should have had led him to be an outcast, but God gave Naaman a gift that cannot be earned, He restored Naaman to his full health.

We all have times where we try to do things in our own strength, but when we try to take control of our lives our lives take control of us. Giving everything over to God can be one of the best decisions of your life, so what does that look like, and how do we do it?

The Pharisees were zealous to protect the Sabbath, they lived by so many rules to keep to this commandment, so when they saw Jesus performing a miracle on the Sabbath they were furious. There is something in all of us which struggles to believe God loves us. We may assent to the concept of God’s love intellectually, but few people really experience it in their hearts. Yet experiencing the love of God is the make-or-break for our Christian lives. So how do we experience the love of God?

Sometimes when life gets hard it can be easy to question if God really is good, which can lead us to grow distant from God. But perhaps instead of doubting his goodness, hard times give us an opportunity to see God’s goodness in action.

Many of us are filled with regret and guilt over things we’ve done wrong, which makes it easy for us feel disqualified from being loved by God and being part of his family. But is it possible for God to stop loving us? Jesus taught there’s nothing we can do to disqualify us from the love of God.

Knowing the love of God is the foundation for the Christian life, but we often have a hard time receiving it. So why do we find it so hard to receive God’s love? In this message, we address the performance lie that tells us we need to perform to earn God’s love and acceptance.

The world tells us that who we are is defined by what we do, but in the Kingdom of God, it’s actually the opposite. Parenting is hard and, at times, scary. But we aren’t called to raise our kids out of fear but to actively raise them towards a personal connection with God. This fathers day we took time to look at what practical steps we can take as parents to guide our children toward the love of God.
