  • The AntiSF Radio Show Abt

G’day and welcome fellow specfic lovers. I’m Nuke, your host and editor, and you’ve found the AntiSF Radio Show Abt, right here in your ears and perhaps inside your head. Abt is a 12km wide stony beast out of the central belt, and it was discovered the the Spacewatch project at the University of Arizona in 1996, and named after yet another astronomer Helmut Abt. So he was not omitted.

Unlike Jamison. But we’ll get to that. Two stories in this show, and just a little in the way of convention news. Stick around for all of that.

    In This Show:

    • Jamison Omitted - by Willow Schafer
    • The Black Dog Cometh - by Benjamin Hayes
    • Panel presentation "Teleporters — Is T-Mat The Public Transport Of The Future?", at Contact 2016 — Chris McMahon (Moderator), Charlotte Nash, Sean Williams (part 6)

  • The AntiSF Radio Show Abstracta

Saluton and hookipa, here I am and there you are. I’m Nuke, your host and editor, and this is our show “Abstracta”, featuring two flash stories, and one micro story. Where do they come from? Well, that’s a deep question, but I can hold off that answer by saying that they’re all from the pages of AntipodeanSF, the magazine that is rapidly approaching its twentieth anniversary online. As for Abstracta, we’re talking a carbonaceous Themistian asteroid from the outer region of the asteroid belt, approximately 10 kilometres in diameter.

    In This Show:

    • Webs - by J.M. Williams
    • A Thousand Ways Of Not Detecting Aliens - by Russell Hemmell
    • The Theory Of Everything - by Nicholas Sheppard

Abnoba by name, abnoba by nature. Welcome folks, I’m Nuke your host and editor. Please join hands and other appendages, and listen in now to the AntiSF Radio Show Abnoba, just another main belter, but please don’t look to Orion to find it. What you should do, however, is stay tuned to this channel, this stream, this audio rendition, for three fine stories.

  • The AntiSF Radio Show Ables

Salutations and saltations. Welcome crew, for this is the AntipodeanSF Radio Show Ables, not stables and definitely not stable. I’m Nuke, your host and editor, coming at you from the Nambucca Valley, and shooting out into the dark to find Ables, a rock about five kilometres across that wasn’t discovered till 1988 by American astronomers Carolyn and Eugene Shoemaker at the U.S. Palomar Observatory, who promptly name it after American astronomer Harold Ables.

So we are able to bring you some stories. Two this time around, both from contributors with a long publication history in AntipodeanSF.

    In This Show:

    • Recycling Unit - by Shane Griffin
    • A Chip In Time - by Garry Dean

Well, whatever it is, welcome to the AntiSF Radio Show Aberdonia, an outer minor planet named for the Scottish University of Aberdeen on its 500th anniversary back in 1995. No university here, but I’m Nuke, your host and editor, and I’m here to give you three downside-up stories from the pages of AntipodeanSF magazine, while we investigate the composition this 8 kilometre diameter rock on its almost five-year journey around our star.

  • The AntiSF Radio Show Abderhalden

Greetings, welcome, tune up. Hi, I’m Nuke, and this is the AntipodeanSF Radio Show Abderhalden. Sounds like the name for an android, to me. Or is that a repository of unknowlege akin to total bullshit in the playground?
Abderhalden was named in memory of Swiss biochemist and physiologist Emil Abderhalden a researcher in the field of physiological chemistry, founder of modern dietetics, and promoter of public welfare.
And speaking of welfare, I do have that in mind, so I’ll stop rambling and get on with the stories, which, by the way, I’ve already mentioned.

  • The AntiSF Radio Show Abastumani

Greetings fellow travellers in-system, welcome to Abastumani. Take note of that dark reddish cast, and never forget that this was one of the last large-sized bodies discovered in the outer belt way, way back in 1935 by Cyril Jackson in Johannessburg. Days here last about 17 hours, and we’re spa specialists just like our sister town in the Caucasus Mountains of Georgia, back on Earth.
Please activate your magnetic locks as we make our final approach. I’m your captain, Nuke, and we’re about to listen to a short show to pass the time until the real start of your holidays.

    In This Show:

    • Symbiotic - by CA Clark
    • Live Long & Whatever - by Wes Parish
    • Natcon 2016 panel "Australian Gothic" with Kathleen Jennings (Moderator), Simon Brown, Angela Slatter & Kaaron Warren  - Part 5 (final)

  • The AntiSF Radio Show Abashiri

Abashiri by name, this main belt body, measuring about 9 kilometres in diameter, has a day that lasts 4 hours and was discovered by Japanese Astronomers. It is named for the city of Abashiri, known for its fishing industry, also in Japan of course. Well, folks, I’m Nuke, your host and editor, not Japanese, although I may have spoken with more than a few of that nation —  and I have fished out the best in stories for fishy Abishiri, with two fine contributions from Antipodean writers who don’t live near the sea of Okhotsk.

    In This Show:

    • Election Day - by Lee S. Hawke
