On today's episode Abby and Margot welcome their next guest, Larissa Noto. Larissa is certified yoga and mindfulness educator specializing in a variety of diverse populations, including trauma informed adult and children's yoga, folks of all ages and stages with unique abilities, and more. She's also a trainer, author, speaker and content contributor with Childlight Education Company (NH), Mindful Child Initiative (PA), Prema Yoga Institute (NY), and Outside +/Yoga Journal. She shares that much of her anxiety journey began in childhood, and she describes herself as a recovering perfectionist. She noticed early in life that she struggled to see mistakes as the beautiful and important teachers that she now knows them to be. She recalls the ways she learned to cope before she even knew that she had anxiety. Larissa offers the Warriors so many valuable insights into her experience from the physical manifestations of her anxiety, to how she uses a range of useful modalities to navigate stress/anxiety nowadays. Larissa reminds us all the value of slowing down, embracing flow and change, and knowing when it's time to stop and when it's time to persevere.
