Nier Discussion: 14:35 - 45:00

Angel Discussion: 45:00 - End

The Nier Automata Anime and The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten round out this season's mid-season review, and, you wouldn't believe it, they are both bangers. Do not fret, however, as the mid-season review sets up the end-of-season review, where we discuss every show we have rated at B or above and give our definitive rankings on shows upon their completion. Nier Discussion: 11:35 - 37:20

Angel Spoils Me Rotten: 37:20 - To end

The final week of the Any Anime Mid-Season Review brings closes with a hotly anticipated show, Nier Automata, and the romantic darling of the season, The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten. We give our impressions on the first 3 episodes of anime for the last time this season, but fear not; everything ranked in the B tier or above is an automatic continued watch for the End of Season Review! Check out the tiers on our twitter @AnyAnimePod or click the link below:

On top of that, we will have brand new content in the next coming weeks, including, but not exclusively, anime retrospectives, personal hall of fame lists, and much more.

Ladies and gentlemen, we, the Any Anime crew, gladly present the FIRST new anime this season that were not absolutely garbage. No spoilers for the final placements of both shows, but I can assure you, these shows finish above a D tier rating, which is not something I could guarantee before. We are so happy to finally have some positive things to say about a set of 3 episodes! If you are squeamish for major spoilers, we only talk about the first 3 episodes, so feel safe in knowing you won't get the full show experience diluted. Thank you for listening and let us know if you enjoy the podcast!

Would you look at that, another week, another mid-season review episode! This week's less controversial, but equally divisive anime are Ice Guy and His Cool Female Colleague and Spy Classroom, two anime that really garnered a lot of discussion for reasons we could not have predicted. If there is anything you need to know for this episode, it is that we really have different tastes in shows, ESPECIALLY romance.

DISCLAIMER: Topics discussed during this particular episode are very sensitive. If discussion surrounding JK Rowling and Onimai make you uncomfortable, this episode may not be for you. Skip to 1:03.45 to avoid these topics.

Another week, another bunch of shows bite the dust! This week's anime include Onimai (I'm Your Sister Now), Buddy Daddies, and Kubo Won't Let Me Be Invisible. We apologize for the low energy, the consecutive weeks of sub-par anime are really taking their toll. However, you may want to know HOW sub-par these shows are? are there any redeeming factors? is this a show I can watch with my mom? All questions we can answer for you here on the Any Anime Podcast.

Welcome to the 3rd episode of the Any Anime Podcast. Your hosts Kevin and Cade watched 3 episodes of Endo and Kobayashi Live! The Latest on Tsundere Villainess Lieselotte and Trigun Stampede and are ready to break down their opinions on these two shows with the goal of ranking them on The Tier List. Tan-man joins us for a riveting conversation about things we are really not experts in. Next week, join us for Onimai and Spy Classroom discussions. I can already hear complaints from the LSC president, himself.

Another week, another couple of anime to review! This week's victims are Ningen Fushin (Apparently, Disillusioned Adventurers Will Save the World) and My Life as Inukai-san's Dog. We watched them, we discussed them, and we ranked them. Spoilers (duh), which means we go about as deep as Inukai-san's tongue went in that poor dog's nose.

We also took the liberty to review Chainsaw Man with spoilers (obviously). We all watched one of the most hyped anime to come out of all time, and had opinions about said anime.. And before you unfollow the show for being HATERS of your favorite show, we actually like Chainsaw Man a lot! So we criticized it with love <3.

Join us next week as well where we do our mid-season review for Endo and Kobayashi... and Trigun Stampede. Follow our Twitter @AnyAnimePodcast or email us your questions, comments, concerns to [email protected]. Thank you for listening!

Kevin and Cade hit 2023 with a New Year's resolution: an episode of our new show every week while watching wayyyyyy too much anime. Welcome to the inaugural episode of Any Anime, a show about ranking the best and worst anime of every season. In this episode, we discuss a bit of our favorite anime/media that we experienced in 2022. Afterwards, we take a look at the top 20 anime of the season, as per Anitrendz, to see what shows we will be watching together throughout the season. We are joined by personal friends, Tanner and Angel, and we had an absolute blast talking about the new and recurring shows that we will be watching this season. Hope you enjoy!

Just as the title suggests, we cover the latest news following the official preview of Ghibli Park and Jujutsu Kaisen 0's theater run in Japan. And, as we have done for every season 2 years running (although under 2 different platforms), we preview the top 20 anime voted on by fans on Anitrendz.net. We then select the anime that are new (season 1's if you will), to set up our mid-season and end-of-season reviews. Sorry for the low energy at the beginning, I am not accustomed to recording at night, but I promise, there is a certain turning point that brings me back up! Enjoy and let us know if you are excited for this season's anime, new or sequel-ized!

The Anime-niacs!!! crew is proud to present our consensus picks for a variety of categories including Best Boy and Girl, Most Hype Action/Fights, and, of course, Best Anime. Admittedly, it was a little bit of a clusterf$^k, but that's what makes it fun, right? Next year it will be streamlined and categories will be more concrete, but we are so happy to even be able to do something like this. It is the culmination of blood, sweat, tears, and spit from the entire year. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for joining us on this journey. We will continue strong for the year 2022!
