Krisandra Slye joined me for this episode to have a discussion on mental health and entrepreneurship. She bravely shares her story for the first time on a podcast about trauma in the past which led to feelings of loneliness, depression, and anxiety. This episode gets emotional but there is a silver lining in this story. It's a journey of feeling and being able to move forward. Krisandra has now become an entrepreneur running two businesses and her Passion Project, The Butterflies Project. Joins us on this amazing journey.
Business 1: Slye Cleaning Services. We provide residential and commercial cleaning services to those that want to get their time back and focus on more important things, whatever that means to them.
Business 2: ChikJade Designs. She designs handmade handbags and accessories. What she designs are more than just a handbag, it's a symbol; an emblem that reminds you of magic inside of you waiting to be released, ready to show the world all that you have to offer it. It's a token that expresses your true self with all its curves and edges.

Passion Project: The Butterflies Project. It's a blog and Youtube channel where she shares what has worked for her in healing from anxiety and depression caused by trauma. The purpose is to spread hope to others and let them know they are not alone and things can get better.

Samuel specializes in 21st-century financial strategies focused on helping establish a legacy of meaning. Growing up his life was full of hand me down clothes, toys, and shoes that were worn out two kids before I got them. Even worse were the beliefs and habits about money my parents passed down.
By age 21 he was making more income than his dad and he was broke while he was providing for a family of 11. Samuel knew that he was missing something and needed to figure it out quickly. None of the “experts” teach the difference in the mindsets and habits of poverty vs. Legacy, they ignored the causes of poverty and focused on how to survive it.
He has gathered the foundational financial habits, mindsets, and behaviors to legacy building then uniquely coded them into tested processes and systems to establish a solid foundation for anyone to build their legacy on. His passion is to empower high achieving men and women with the financial foundation essential to maximize fulfillment in their life and create their legacy. He is the host of the Fuel Your Legacy Podcast where he teaches the foundational habits, mindsets, and behaviors essential to create a legacy that lasts.
Samuel Knickerbocker is a Legacy Strategist with Fuel Your Legacy, the company that is redefining what legacy means and how one is built. Your legacy is not about the money that you earn in your life but rather the impact that you can create with the wealth that you receive.
Samuel knows what can happen when you make more money than you ever imagined without having a plan and focus on how to make it work for you. Most people start the conversation of what to do with their money too late and on the wrong foundation. Fuel Your Legacy is focused on ensuring that you are building a life and legacy that is founded on your core values and what brings you fulfillment.

Joining me tonight on the Anything Goes Project is a fellow content creator and entrepreneur Terrence Patterson.
Terrence graduated from Oglethorpe University in Atlanta with a BA in Economics. He later moved to New York to pursue acting. He worked in a few international law firms during the day (honing budget skills, hiring a team, and advising demanding law partners about e-discovery technology) while also working at an independent film production company (Aditi Pictures) for 10 years. Terrence also co-produced an Off-Broadway play, The Newlyweds, at The Producers Club and eventually for a few years at ATA (The American Theatre of Actors). He later founded his own independent production company, Paragon Multimedia LLC, as a way to create content for streaming and/or theatrical release.
Tonight he is here to discuss the web series, Half Past Jump Time, and his company Paragon Multimedia and the journey it took to become an entrepreneur.

Today's creator featured on the show is Jan Hogrewe, the founder of Just Jan's.
Just Jan's is a gourmet food line - specializing in fruit spreads and an award-winning hot sauce. They combine passion, care and high-quality ingredients to craft foods that take you home.
Jan Hogrewe initially started Just Jan’s out of her kitchen while working full time in the entertainment industry, Warner Brothers among the few. Making fig spread was a hobby and outlet at a difficult time in her life. She had no idea it would become a business.
If we look back even further, in a lot of ways Just Jan’s started when she was growing up. Her mom was a bit of an entertainer but not much of a baker, so whenever she hosted parties she asked Jan to bake. That was her first exposure to baking and having people enjoy her food. They had fruit trees in their backyard and those fruits that she grew up around became some of the first Just Jan’s flavors.
It was when she met a stranger who happened to be in the food business that tasted her fig spread and asked the question that changed her life: “I like your jam better than what’s on the market. Would you ever consider doing this for a living?”
This sparked the creative juices she hadn't felt in years and she said "yes". She hired him to consult and went on a fact-finding journey asking people in the industry a million and one questions, started working on other fruit flavors, bringing her creations to friends, giving her daughters pb&j's with her latest recipe for feedback and so on.
It was about 8 months into Jan's research that she met the buyer of non-perishables for a major nationwide chain that said when she was ready, she would launch her products in 300 stores. GAME CHANGER! It took Jan's about a year to find a co-packer who could make her recipes just like hers and when she did - she kept her promise and Just Jan's was on the shelves.
Simultaneously it went into a couple of friends establishments and the Queen Mary's Tea Room. 18 months in and Jan was asked to make Williams Sonoma's curds for them. The Just Jan's name has a spot on their label and Jan was honored to call them a partner. Jan has been creating for them ever since. About 2 years in her friend (and taste tester) Kris decided he'd like to join her on this journey and they have been working together ever since. They are coming up on their 8 year anniversary from the initial launch date in May.
Check out the Just Jan's website and get yourself some wonder, gourmet spreads, and hot sauces.

What in the world is SEO? Well, in a nutshell, it's search engine optimization and how almost every search engine functions. So let me break it down one more time for the layman. When someone logs into Google and they begin a search, Google gives suggested items based on what you are typing and when someone searches your business name (ie Anything Goes Project) it should be on the first page and most definitely you want in at the top.
Sadly, that is not the case for many people's websites but there is a solution. The reason you want your info on page one and at a minimum, number three in the search is because rarely do people hit page two. They almost always click the first item on the page. This is exactly what you want if someone was searching for Homemade Soap or Handmade purse's.
Now you could try and figure out all these Keywords, Tags, and Optimization or you could get a team that has already figured it all out. That's were Kris Reid and his Team at Ardor come in.
Kris Reid is a country boy from Brisbane, Australia and he studied Software engineering at the Queensland University of Technology. He has traveled the world and lived in 10 countries. Kris wanted to learn web designing so he started building an online game called Mob Warrior. As the game became ready, Kris thought "How do you get people to visit your website to play the game?" This began his journey to start learning Digital Marketing, particularly, Search Engine Optimization and backlinks. He soon found out that he could make money using what he learned and digital marketing.
Years later, Kris is a worldwide name in Digital Marketing, specializing in Search Engine Optimization. He is the Leader of Ardor with offices in Davao, Philippines, Phnom Penh, Cambodia, Vietnam and has a global remote team of Digital Experts ready to help you get the results you want for your website and business.
As we all know, most entrepreneurs struggle to get more customers and most podcasters struggle to get more listeners. In fact, most businesses go out of business, not because their products and services aren’t great, and certainly not because the entrepreneur isn’t working their butt off!
They go out of business because they can’t get enough customers! And Inversely most podcasters stop podcasting because they get discouraged because no one is listening.
What applies to a business selling products or services, applies equally for a podcast or youtube channel. So How do you get more customers? How do you get more listeners? They have (Ardor) developed a simple system to get your message directly in front of your ideal customers and grow your business! It’s pretty simple.
Where does anyone look for new products or services these days? Not on YouTube, Facebook, or Instagram. People search for new products and services on Google! They simply work out what your potential customers are searching for on Google. Next, they determine what needs to change on your website - title tags, descriptions, content, etc. to show Google you’re the perfect solution to that person’s problem. And then, they put your website right in front of where they are looking, on the front page of Google Search Then, it’s just a matter of inviting the visitor to take action and become a customer. Simple, but not easy!
Now I want to invite you to take action and change your business forever Simply by clicking the link below and let Kris and his Team show you how their system works and how it can grow your business. Imagine having a constant, reliable stream of new visitors to your website. Predictable revenue steam that you can count on. https://ardorseo.com/agp
