The party, finally reunited in Vacrye, accepts a job to kill undead at an abandoned mill nearby. However, what is inside the mill is of even more importance. Peren tries to frame an innocent. Esmenée makes a friend. Fer meets his fate.

After Lyra's disturbing vision of the cursed amulet of Yeenoghu, and after the party disembarks from the ship to visit the holy site where they disposed of the amulet prior, Lyra falls unconscious and loses control of her Wild Shape entirely. The party has a new mystery to solve- has the amulet come back, and are there others they should be concerned about? Peren gets roasty toasty. Quinn learns to trust. Endorin is still not spelled "Eherdhin".
