The party has been bested and taken into custody by the Fist, and Senator Trybana- who had only just returned to the party as a possible ally- has been culled by General Waller, the head of the Fist in Ochana. They discover during their interrogation that the general not only has history with members of the party, but seems to know a little too much about them...

Arc I (Ochana) Episode 3: No Time For Capitalism
The party recovers from their fight against the hydra. Checking in with shopkeepers from the rich district, as well as a foreman in the poor district, they are told that the forest is being culled thanks to higher taxes imposed by the Senate. The party speaks with Senator Grayson Tribana in the governmental sector of the rich district, who informs them that the money and wood are going back to the anti-magic city of Esmea in their fight against the "rebellion" of magic users. This is only the beginning.
