I personally don't think I learned much in grade school that I actually can put to use in regular life. I think that schools need to put more focus on life skills than job skills in grade school. Driving class would be more beneficial than science class. When the last time you used science in your regular life. Kindergarten through 5th grade was where I learned everything I needed, how to write, read, add, subtract, divide and multiply. Everything after that was just nonsense mostly. It was all life lessons in high school. I didn't learn anything helpful from my teachers in high school. One teacher was a drunk, so I learned not to drink at work. That was about all the lessons a teacher taught me in high school. I got all my lessons from the students. Life lessons I use every single day of my life. They need to change the curriculum to things that actually help people in regular life. Maybe then homelessness and crime would go down. Doing the same thing over and over expecting different results is insanity. Teaching children all over the USA the same curriculum over and over again and having people struggling with the same life skills that they could have been taught in school is also insane........................................
