There has to be hundreds of 1st Amendment Auditors on YouTube and other social media. I'm amazed that I had never heard of or seen a 1st amendment Auditing video until 2020. It feels like many other people haven't seen them either, because if they had they wouldn't act like idiots when they see a 1st amendment Audit going on.
I think its ridiculous that all public officials haven't seen them or even know what the 1st amendment is. How can you swear to something and not know what it is? I think that watching 1st amendment Auditing videos should be apart of mandatory training for all public officials, especially law enforcement. How can you enforce the law and you don't even know it? I truly think that 1st amendment Auditors serve a purpose. Some serve the purpose of educating law enforcement. Some serve the purpose of simply exercising our rights. Some serve the purpose of keeping our public officials accountable. Some serve the purpose of educating the public that we all have the right to film in public. Some serve the purpose of going into public office and letting the public know how our tax dollars are being spent. Some serve the purpose of going places exercising their rights so the next person won't be harrassed... The list can go on and on.
All first Amendment Auditors are not good. Some of them show us how not to act in public. One way or the other 1st amendment Auditing videos are needed. The world is changing and we need to know what's going on. 1st Amendment Auditors hitting the streets not only help us by educating, they help by making sure the 1st amendment is constantly being used so it can't be taken away.
You have to give the majority of 1st amendment Auditors credit for being able to control their emotions even when they are disrespected constantly.
