This week we had the honor of talking to Adam, Ben, and Riley from local band Romancer. In this episode, we journey through the band’s history, and how their writing and recording process have matured over time. We touch on each members musical influences and how they impact the bands drive and creativity. Romancer tells us about their exciting tour through the United States along side Silver Age, and the impacts of sustaining yourself solely off of fast food. The band touches on the excitement they felt upon returning home and being greeted by a huge crowd of fans and new faces at Hope Fest. We got a behind the scenes look at what it was like to work with local music video director jakob Koehler-lees of Iced Out Visuals and Mercedes Arn-Horn. Lastly the band took an opportunity to answer a few of their fans questions!

Christian, Patrick, and Ian are all by their lonesome once again, ringing in the new year with a fresh baked episode of the podcast. On this episode the guys discuss the retirement of several musical legends, Drake being a complete creep, R Kelly's criminal investigations, Maroon Five and Travis Scott fusing at the super bowl, and last but certainly not least the announcement that Maynard James Keenan of TOOL has announced his completion of vocal tracking for the new album. It has been thirteen years since 10,000 days and we discuss whether we think the record can possibly live up to expectations!

Christian, Patrick, and Ian kick back with Kitchener-Waterloo local multi talented poet, rapper, and skateboard god Tyler Ens AKA Child The Rapper. Tyler lays down his humble musical beginnings and explains why as a hip-hop artists he doesn't actually listen to that much of the genre. We speak about his very first live performance, as well as the excitement, perspective and new sense of direction that comes along with it. Later we show case some of Tyler's collaborative studio work with two other local artists Nicky Columbus and Alice Winters. Tyler also gives us a brief glimpse into his first ever skateboard trip while we watch a film produced by Robert Polakiewicz that showcases Tyler's skills as a skateboarder.

Christian, Patrick, and Ian sit down with local hardcore legend Sam Hillifer to discuss the history of his current band SUNDIVER his side project Hot Future as well as the history behind his previous band and scene darling Die Atlantic. Sam "Chers" with us his humble musical beginnings and what inspired him as an artist. He takes us on journey of not only his musical development but the tri-cities as well. We discuss what the local scene is doing well and also what it may be lacking. Ian offers up an amazing misheard lyric that you wont want to pass up. We also Introduce a new member to our crew Devin Flynn who is joining us as a production assistant.
