I built Pathfinder's interactive elements using a Wi-Fi enabled PyPortal touchscreen microcontroller running CircuitPython. This means it's straightforward to reprogram him to do all sorts of new IoT things, such as display real-time game tournament stats, turn him into a weather station, or serve up infinite cat photos.
