  • Romans Bible Study- 2:12-3:9
In this recording of a live broadcast (even though their weren't any live viewers or comments! LOL) we cover 2:12-3:9, and discuss how Paul strips the Jews of any claim they have to being righteous and acceptable to God becuase they posses the law and have circumcision. Paul is stripping us of any righteousness we think we have so that we will see our need for the imputed righteousness of Christ, the Righteousness "apart from law".

  • What Can We Learn From The Asbury Revival?
In this recording of a live episode, we discuss the Asbury revival. I go over some of the good things about it and some of my concerns. We also look at how different parts of the body of Christ need to contribute to the health of the whole, and how the charismatic wing of the Church has something of value to offer us. We also look at 2 passages, Deuternonomy 13 and Acts 3, and show how the message that follows a sign and wonder is more important than the sign or wonder. Enjoy.

  • Romans Bible Study- 2:1-11
In this episode, recorded live, we continue our study of the book of Romans. We see how Paul switches to 2nd person pronouns to accuse the jews and pagan moralists of hypocrisy and judgmentalism. We discuss how humans justify themselves by pointing out the sins of others, instead of looking at their own sins. And then we dive deep into the purpose and function of the law, and how both Jesus and Paul taught how the law is meant to expose our sin and drive us to Christ!

  • A Friendly Discussion About Calvinism and the Problem of Evil
In this Livestreamed episode of AFA, we were supposed to have Matt Salih on to discuss how calvinism responds to someone who has suffered evil at the hands of another. But unfortunately Matt had to cancel...but we went ahead and did the episode anyway. I played a clip of Matt's questions he asked on Facebook live and then we looked at several scriptures and took some live questions and comments.

  • Ephesians 1:1-14: My Entry to Provisionist Perspective's Free T-Shirt Challenge
In this long episode (over two hours) I record my response to a public challenge issued by Drew and Eric over at the Provisionist Perspective channel, to respond to their exegesis of Ephesians 1:1-14. I play their entire walk through of verses 1-14 and attempt to understand them in their own words and give a critique of their exegesis, as well as flag up points of agreement. I'll be waiting for my extra large T-Shirt in the mail!
