Alistair Hepburn is employed with ACTRA Toronto. ACTRA is a union of film, television and new media workers and advocates fair and equal work for all in the entertainment industry. Howard Ungerleider got his start in the early 70's as a tour manager for Rush. His primary job was to teach the three 20 something year olds the proper way to tour in the USA. Howard actually wasn't much older than Rush when he started with them. After proving his chops as a competent lighting person, Howard spent the next 40 years changing rock & roll lighting artistically and technically on a touring stage. Today, Howard is the founder of Production Design International dealing with large-scale Laser and lighting design.

Welcome to episode #190!. John Hiebert is a production manager with the Calgary folk fest. But before that, John was the lead singer and guitar player for Calgary's "Field day" and a staple in the Calgary punk rock scene. John and I first met in the early 90's when out two bands played together. John has always been a good soul and a great ambassador for punk and indie music. In the show we get caught up with each others doings. We told some old stories and reminisced about what is was like back-in-the-day. John also made it very clear that he doesn't like to live in the past, for which I agree with him. He did also say that who we were is an anchor to what we've become and who we are as grown ups. A great conversation and a long time coming!

Ceilings are a three-piece, Punk Rock band who are based in Winnipeg, Manitoba. 

The band has recently come together with Little Rocket Records to release their new E.P. “Wake Up and Start Again”.The band features members from Elder Abuse, Locked In and Nice Cops.

All tracks were recorded in the basement of Jordan Voth, who previously recorded Elder Abuse - Burnt LP, which was released by Little Rocket Records.

Ceilings are premiering Jammin as their first video, which will definitely warm your hearts and leave a smile on your face.

In support of the release, they will venture out to the following towns on Tour.
