We are living in challenging times and the world seems to become more and more unstable. The Bible talks about the things that happen in the endgame, before Jesus returns, specifically in the Middle East. We should pay attention to the things that happen in and around Israel.

Today we will have a look on why Israel is intervening/ fighting on behalf of the Druze people/minority in Syria.

A few years ago, God gave me a prophetic word for this decade and he said, that it would be like in the 20s, 30s and 40s of the last century - meaning that similar things would happen in the world in this decade. One thing that changed the curse in many nations in that time in the last century was the Great Depression that started in 1929. I believe that the trade war between China and the USA has started a similar event in the 2020s. What you can do in that time and how God wants to guide you through such a season, you will hear in today's episode.

The world is changing and uncertainty is increasing. Whatever happens, tariffs, economic difficulties or even wars are not new to this world - but existed in the past as well. The most important for us is not the absence of turmoil but the inner strength and clarity that comes from having a relationship with God. How you can have and strengthen that inner compass that guides you through stormy waters, you can hear in today's episode.

In today's episode we will look into the Book of Judith that was written in the 1st century before Christ. The main topic of the book is how God can save his people despite our weakness, if we have faith in him.

About the series:

The protestant Bible we have now contains 66 books, but there are also other Bibles that have more books in the Old Testament. These Scriptures are canonical in the Catholic and the Orthodox Church. They contain valuable insights, stories and wisdom that every Christian should know. What is the reason for different canonical collections of the Holy Scriptures and what can be found in them?

The Apokrypha that were part of the King James Bible until 1885 can also be found on https://www.kingjamesbibleonline.org/Apocrypha-Books/
