I have a fantastic teacher who has told me that in everything you read, you can find a concept that applies to intimate relationships.
At first, I thought she was a bit insane, but I learned she was right over time.
Somehow that seems to be the theme of my life, and this week we will apply that teacher's philosophy to the principles of improv.
When a colleague of mine, Lisa Schwaller, mentioned that she'd love to talk to my audience about how to apply the principles of improv to your marriage, I was SO intrigued.
Was this a new game I could create for my clients? ( Don't be surprised, remember what I said about creating relationship concepts)
So I took Lisa up on her suggestion, read the book Improv Wisdom: Don't Prepare, Just Show Up by Patricia Ryan Madson to prepare, and we had a fun discussion about improv, life, and our marriage relationship.
Lisa Schwaller is Strengths Strategy Certified Coach and Certified Life & Weight Coach. She works with overwhelmed working parents who are exhausted by the demands of their adult responsibilities. People work with her to improve their skills at parenting, balancing work and family life, and nurturing all the most important relationships that make life meaningful. Lisa’s favorite thing is to teach her clients how to manage the stress of modern living while having more fun in the process.
