Last week, the New York State Office of Court Administration established rules that will bar Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents from arresting people in the state’s courthouses without a warrant or order. We discussed the new rules with Sarah Rogerson, Associate Professor of Law at Albany Law School and Director of the Immigration Law Clinic, and Sheriff Craig Apple (D-Albany County) on the impact this will have for immigrants.
