Apron Work Podcast

In this week's episode, not only is Peach back, but we discuss the confusion that surrounds the WWE status of the reigning, defending (well, sort of), undisputed Universal Champion, Brock Lesnar. We also take a deeper look into the staged confrontation between Lesnar and the UFC Heavyweight Champion, Daniel Cormier, compare Kazuchika Okada's 700+ day reign to Lesnar's current one, and wonder if Lesnar will stay with WWE while competing in the UFC. Also, we commented live on the Extreme Rules PPV as we were recording.

In this week's episode, a man who DOES need an introduction (because he is not on any other shows), a childhood friend of ours, Matt Ficco, had joined us! With Peach still on hiatus, we discuss the recently announced rumor of $500 million that Vince McMahon will spend on the reincarnation of the XFL. We look into our memories of the first version of the XFL, if and how they will be in direct competition with the NFL and the new league beginning in 2019, AAF, what can they do better to be successful this time around, and will they separate themselves from the WWE.

In this week's episode, the co-host of "We Podcast & We Know Things," Greg Hall, had joined us! We begin things by surprising Greg with a familiar segment from his show that we got the blessing from his co-host Sam Maturo to do. We then get into our topic of discussion for the week, which due to the recent announcement of AJ Styles on the WWE2K19 cover, is wrestling video games. We name our favorite games, the first game we ever owned, our go-to wrestler of choice, and much more. Lastly, we end the show with another "We Podcast & We Know Things" staple by naming our top 3 favorite finishing moves for a CAW (Create A Wrestler).

In this week's episode, we take a moment to honor Leon White, a.k.a. Vader, a.k.a. Frankie Stecchino Sr., and acknowledge his wishes of being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. Continuing on that theme, we decided to dig deeper into who we believe should have already been inducted or should be inducted soon. We also break the news on our replacement for Peach for the next two episodes and get a rundown of our prediction results from Money in the Bank and TakeOver Chicago II.

In this week's episode, we follow up the successful initial episode of "The Peach Pit" with part two of the series while watching WWE's Money in the Bank PPV. Peach asks us questions that include what type of gimmick matches we would like to see created, what would happen if any current championship could be contested under a 24/7 rule, and could New Japan Pro Wrestling and WWE work together. We get into the state of NXT and give our reactions to the matches at NXT TakeOver Chicago II. And we also speak about Respass' experience of talking wrestling on a bonus episode of the nerdtastic "We Podcast & We Know Things" podcast.

In this week's episode, we decided to dive into the 12-year history of the Money in the Bank contract with the Money in the Bank pay-per-view right around the corner. We talk about some of our favorite all-time Money in the Bank cash-ins, our preferences of if we want the winner to be a face or heel, should the match be a part of WrestleMania again, and who we believe will win the men's and women's ladder matches for 2018.

In this week's episode, we are joined by Opie0909 himself of "The Opie and Friends Show" on YouTube, Jer Culver! Our threesome becomes a foursome to discuss the highly anticipated Kenny Omega vs. Kazuchika Okada IV at Dominion 6.9 in Osaka-Jo Hall. We take a deeper look into the first three matches of this soon-to-be tetralogy (we looked this up, that's the term when there are four parts), give our honest opinions on the matches, and make our predictions on the next chapter.

In this week's episode, we look at the cause of the drop in ratings for Monday Night Raw and attempt to figure out how to fix this. On the flip side, the unofficial Fox purchase of SmackDown Live! has made headlines, so we discuss the rumored one billion dollar deal along with the possible benefits this deal could have on other wrestling companies getting more exposure.

In this week's episode, we find out who's in the lead after our first predictions of the new wrestling year from Backlash. Then we play a Championship Belt association game by naming some of the most iconic and fan-favorite championship belts, with some help from social media, and see who is the first wrestler that comes to our minds in association with those titles. When you hear our responses, you'll laugh, you'll cry, and you'll laugh some more (we know Respass certainly did).

In this week's episode, we start by mourning over our failed attempt at purchasing tickets to All In in Chicago this September. Then we regroup by looking at Brock Lesnar's controversial current title reign and how it is on course to break CM Punk's record of longest WWE world title reign in the modern era. This discussion led to looking at Chris Jericho's total IC title reigns, Ric Flair's total world title reigns, and each of us choosing a record that we feel should or should not break and who should break it.
