The Assembly of First Nations is set to elect its next leader.

The race to replace outgoing leader Perry Bellegarde -- who opted not to seek a third term as National Chief -- features seven candidates. Over these next episodes of the Brief, we’ll hear from all of them ahead of AFN's virtual election on July 7.
