People continue to process news of a mass grave at the former Indian Residential School in Kamloops, B.C. Members of a Mi’kmaw community wonder whether similar burials of children happened at a residential school in their area. Alberta says it will help fund the location of unmarked graves which may contain hundreds of Indigenous children. The Calgary board of education takes action on requests to drop the name of a school named after an architect of the residential school system.
