EPISODE 4 John Titor the Time Traveler????

John Titor was active on Internet forums during the late 1990's he claimed to be a time traveler from 2036.  His mission was to go back and retrieve an IBM 5100 computer from 1975.  A computer that his government needed to fix legacy systems and only that computer could do it. 

John was Time Travelor_0 prior to revealing his name as John Titor.  He had faxed in letters to Art Bell who hosted a nationwide late night radio show at the time (is is now Coast to Coast).  Art read the letters on the radio, and over the next few years John appeared on the Art Bell BBS, where your host interacted with him.  

A hoax?  Probably, he made predictions that never happened, but could be explained by a diverging timeline.  At the end of the day it was a lot of fun and lore that people still discuss today.  Have fun with it.

Can we download our brains?  If not now when?  This episode deals with the idea that we may be living in a simulation and, if we are would we know.  Our interiority of experience is subjective and difficult if not impossible to explain to someone. 

Will computers develop sufficient processing power to be able to download the trillions of connections from our brain into a computer?  Comparing the rate of evolution of the modern search engine in a short period of time and Elon Musks new company Neuralink it may be possible sooner than later by creating high bandwidth connections between machines and our brains.  Elon postulates that we are already cyborgs evidenced by the computing power on our person at all times and the speed at which we can access the worlds information via our phone.

EP2 UFO or Alien - Is there a difference?

Looking back at encounters with UFOs and Aliens we start to see some pattern.  The people that see a UFO are not the same as the folks who claim to be abducted by aliens.  Full disclosure I have seen a UFO, I have not been abducted by Aliens.  UFO just means I can't explain it with my current basis of knowledge.  There are many more people like me than there are Alien Abductees.

I cannot disprove the accounts of Alien Abductees, but I their reasoning is suspect.  I wish I could find a dragon among them, but no luck thus far.

In this episode we will consider the possibilities of life outside of our planet and discuss the size of the universe and the probability of other intelligent life among the 19 sextillion planets that scientists believe are out there.

EP1 Flat Earthers: 

Flat Earthers have made the news from time to time. Recall Shaq quipped at on point that since he drove from LA to FL it seemed flat to him.  He was joking. There are many people that believe that the earth is flat.  They provide vague explanations to answer the holes in their theory.

What is AQF= Archie Query Form  the first search engine in 1990. Only indexed webpages, it didn't have the capacity to tell the researcher what was contained at the site.  I think that we often do the same thing, we see a headline and don't have the capacity to read the article and if it doesn't pass the smell test we should do a little more research.  Our news media has figured this out as well, and as you thumb through your headlines notice the click-bait titles that are being used to draw you in, or state fact, when the article has little if any facts contained in it.
