I 1977 tháinig sé amach go mbeadh na mbainc chun an t-airgeadas a mhéadú den airgead a raibh siad ag cur isteach chuig an earnáil tithíochta.

I 1988 rinne an rialtas athrú ó bhonn chun na bus scoile a cur air siúil go príobháideach agus chur siad scéim ar ceall I ceithre chontae.

I 2001 fuair an bhrainse I nDurlas den Order of Malta, feithicil 4x4 nua ionas go mbeidís dul isteach chuig áiteanna deacair chun garchabhair a thabhairt. Thug an Racing Bord an fheithicil chuig The Order of Malta.

I 2007 bhí ceiliúradh ag dul ar aghaidh I nDurlas de bharr an nuacht go raibh cead acu CCTV a bheith acu I Liberty Square. Chosain sé 87 míle euro.

I 2007 chuaigh Kate Nash chuig uimhir a haon sa Bhreatain lena chéad albam Made Of Bricks.

Agus ar deireadh breithlá daoine cáiliúla ar an lá seo rugadh Tyson Fury sa Bhreatain I 1988 agus rugadh Cara Delevingne sa Bhreatain ar an lá seo I 1992 agus seo chuid de na rudaí a rinne sí.

1977: Banks were set tostep up the volume of finance they are putting ino the housing industry.

1988: The government has done a U turn on privatising school bus services and postponed a pilot scvheme involving 4 counties.

2001 - The Thurles branch of the Order of Malta received possession of a brand new, fully equipped 4x4 vehicle, which will enable them to access difficult areas when administering first aid.  The 4x4 was presented to the Order of Malta by the Racing Board, who benefit, in no small way, from their expertise when it comes to race meetings in Thurles and throughout all of Munster. 

 2007 - There was great celebrations in the town of Thurles following the news that an application for CCTV for Liberty Square and the adjoining areas had been successful. €87.500 was allocated for the provision of CCTV in Thurles.

2007 UK singer, songwriter Kate Nash went to No.1 on the UK album chart with her debut album 'Made Of Bricks.'

And finally celebrity birthdays on this day – Tyson Fury was born in the UK in 1988 and Cara Delevingne was born in the UK on this day in 1992 and this is some of the stuff she has done.
