I 2005 d'úsáid triúir dhéagóirí scian, gloine, sluasaid agus maide croise I rith ionsaí a tharla ar beirt dhuine.

I 2006 shiúil Taoiseach Bertie Ahern síos Sráid Pearse san Aonach Urmhumhan. Ní raibh mórán duine ar an tsráid ach stop Bertie chun labhairt le cúpla duine. Chuaigh sé isteach chuig siopa caifé agus siopa seodóra. Chroith sé lámh le cúpla daoine a raibh ag siúil ar an tsráid chomh maith.

I 2010 tháinig sé amach nach raibh comhairle baile san Aonach Urmhumhan chun 20 nóiméad pairceáil saor in aisce a dhéanamh chun níos mó gnó a fháil sa bhaile mar nach raibh sé chun obair. Bhí na trádálaithe sa bhaile ag iarradh an córas seo a leag amach – ionas go mbeadh 20 nóiméad saor in aisce ag na tiománaí sa bhaile.

Agus ar deireadh breithlá daoine cáiliúla ar an lá seo rugadh Simon Cowell sa Bhreatain I 1959 agus rugadh amhránaí Toni Braxton I Meiriceá ar an lá seo I 1967 agus seo chuid de amhrán.

1983: A earch along the east coast was underway searching for a missing light aircraft with 4 people on board.

2005: 2 teenage boys and a female acomplice used knives, a glass, a shovel and a crutch during a savage attack on a couple celebrating new years eve.

2006 -Taoiseach Bertie Ahern cast an inconspicuous figure as he strode down Pearse Street in Nenagh. The street was virtually deserted of people. But Bertie would continue to press the flesh and chat with the ordinary folk, but there was hardly a soul in sight. Seeing nobody on the street, he entered a coffee shop and then a jewellery shop to say hello to the staff. He shook hands with four or five people who happened to be passing by. 

2010 - Hopes of offering 20 minutes of free parking to boost business in Nenagh were dashed amid the town council’s view that the proposal is unworkable. Nenagh traders have been calling on the local authority to introduce a system whereby motorists would not be charged for the first 20 minutes of on-street parking in the town.

And finally celebrity birthdays on this day – Simon Cowell was born in the UK in 1959 and singer Toni Braxton was born in America on this day in 1967 and this is one of her songs.
