Thousands of young Luxembourg men? Forced into the German Army.

Many never came back.

Around 1,300 Jews? Deported to Auschwitz and beyond.

Yeah… escalated quickly.

Then came 𝟭𝟬 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟵𝟰𝟰 – US troops roll in, people flood the streets, cheering like it’s the ultimate freedom party🥳🇺🇸

FINALLY, right? Plot twist: NOPE.

Just three months later, Hitler throws one last dramatic tantrum → hello, 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝘂𝗹𝗴𝗲❄️💣

Winter hits, bombs fall, towns crumble, and 600 civilians lose their lives.

So yeah… Luxembourg may be small.

But WWII? It hit 𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 big.

Back in the 19th century, Chris’s great-grandparents packed up their Luxembourgish grit and sailed to America. Fast-forward a few generations and boom – enter 𝗝𝗶𝗺𝗺𝘆 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘁, Chris’s dad. He learned tennis in a Chicago church parking lot (because obviously that’s where champions are forged), served in WWII, became an All-American player at Notre Dame, and later ran a tennis center in Florida for nearly 𝟱𝟬 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀. Casual.

Jimmy coached all five of his kids, but Chris was the one who turned practice into pure domination. Result?
