All eyes are on Hamas as the terrorist organisation considers its response to a 20-point peace plan for Gaza announced by the White House.

Israel says it supports the plan, though details are scant.

Regional leaders have also welcomed the proposal, with a joint statement from Egypt, Jordan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and others expressing confidence in US President Donald Trump's ability to broker peace.
