DO YOU HAVE TROUBLE GETTING YOUR CORSET PROJECTS DONE? DO YOU GET STUCK ON PARTS THAT YOU DISLIKE? Start by doing the bare minimum!

This might surprise you but I'm not a big fan of the corset making process. Not at all. In all honesty, it is very boring and tedious to me. I enjoy making corset patterns and wearing corsets so making the corset is just a means to an end for me.

With that, it is very easy for me to get stuck but there are ways in which people can trick themselves into doing those parts they dislike. One of the methods is doing the bare minimum.

Everyone has some idea of a minimum amount of effort they are wiling to do. Start with that and see where it takes you.

MANY FEAR IT BUT IN REALITY, IT IS YOUR BEST FRIEND! Join me and learn how to make friends with math and draft the best patterns of your life!

I have to admit, I do have a preference for drafting flat patterns (2D on paper) as oppose to draping them on a mannequin but in reality, there is a time, place and a project for both methods. To unlock your full potential as a creator, you should strive to learning both, at least the basics.

Math is a big problem for many, and the reason why they avoid flat drafting. If you have a calculator by your side, you will be fine as complexity of math used in pattern drafting isn't very high.
