Arc Angels: An Anime Pod

In honor of the first episode's title that started it all, Alexandra (she/her) and Sofía (they/them) wrap up the first season of Arc Angels with a thrilling (and fairly drunk) review of Inuyasha season 2 episodes 28 - 35. Does Alexandra stupidly down five vodka shots during trivia? Does Sofía promote the gay agenda (more than usual)? Do they both almost cry because this podcast is more fun than they ever thought it would be and they love their heavenly listeners like family??? Find out, in this weeks long-a$$, late-a$$, cute-a$$ season finale special.

Are we human, or are we born to make history? Either way, this week Sofía (they/them) and Alexandra (she/her) absolutely gush over the iconic, gay, and beautiful treasure that is Yuri Katsuki and Viktor Nikiforov's love story. Of course, they also obsess over the young Yuri(o)'s character development, JJ's style, gay panic, and more. Happy Pride!

What's the word angelz. In today's episode Alexandra (she/her) and Sofía (they/them) break the world record for most comprehensive My Hero Academia sports festival commentary—plus, Sofía exposes their Bakugo apologist tendencies (Bakugo stans stand UP). Regardless of accidentally editing out a story about learning how to knit, Alexandra admirably got this episode down to a little over an hour. Enjoy!

Hi hi angels! In today's episode Alexandra (she/her) and Sofía (they/them) truly know pain—whether it's 3-hour microphone problem solving, bad lighting, or the merciless death grip of Mercury in retrograde. Nonetheless, they persevere and delve into, per Alexandra, "the ARC of all ARCS," the Naruto Shippuden Pain arc. if you know you know, and if you don't you will because Alexandra will explain her love for this life-changing Shonen no matter the circumstance. If Sofía can survive this episode, then so can you. Enjoy!

What's good angels! In today's (extremely late our bad y'all) episode Sofía (they/them) and Alexandra (she/her) discover just how much they love not only Bleach, but also the magic of Shonen anime. Prepare for Alexandra's concerning infatuation with Captain Aizen, Sofía's deep admiration for Bleach's fight scenes, and a whole lot of thirsting after fictional characters. Oh, and don't fret, we do definitely remember to talk about Ichigo—especially his legendary rescue of his one true love Rukia. You better get into it.

SKIP TO 5:45 FOR THE HAIKYUU TALK!

Hi angels! In this episode, Sofía (they/them) and Alexandra (she/her) discuss the angst of the sports anime's training camp arc — specifically, Haikyuu's season two (a.k.a. everyone's favorite comfort rewatch). Listen as a devoted Haikyuu fan and a sports anime newbie (but seasoned high school volleyball player) got in-depth about the ships, Tsukki's inferiority complex, the sun/moon character metaphor, and ourselves. Enjoy!

No, New York writers Alexandra (she/her) and Sofía (they/them) are not angels of high rank — they're two heavenly, narcissistic baddies who gab about anime arcs on a chaotic weekly podcast (in a hot-ass Brooklyn apartment). Welcome to Arc Angels' very first episode! Find out which My Hero Academia characters we're most like à la astrology, our all-time favorite ships, how we even got into anime in the first place, and so much more.
