The Archibald Prize is one of Australia's longest running painting prizes. Since its inception, it has highlighted figures from all walks of life, from famous faces to local heroes.After the prize has been awarded the finalist paintings are sent on a regional tour around country and in 2026 the only Victorian venue to host the travelling exhibition will be Shepparton Art Museum.
