🎙 My awesome friend Albert Elias is an Information Architect whose interests revolve around Data gathering and Design Technology. He applies his education to developing intersections between science, art, and technological advancement. For the past five years, his work has focused on Computational Design, Data Visualization, and Virtual/Augmented Reality. He and I used to be classmates/partners and graduated the same year at Florida International University, both with a major in Architecture. He also furthered his education by finishing a Post-Professional Master’s degree with a major in Architecture and the Arts, with an emphasis on Computational Design, Video Game Programming, and Virtual/ Augmented Reality...If that’s not enough... He is also the founder of his own company called Aberrate LLC, where they focus on the development of Augmented/ Virtual reality platforms for multiple markets. Therefore, He is a big nerd..the best kind!... Currently, Albert is working as a visiting instructor at Florida International University where he is teaching Architectural Design, Computational Design, and Environmental Systems. In this episode, we will talk about the exponential growth in design technology and how the new trends have influenced Computational design in Architecture...All, while geeking out a little bit... Enjoy!
