“Nicole Cooper’s work uses figurative oil painting to explore humanity as a growing force. What started as curious paintings rooted in evolutionary biology have quickly evolved to express the artist’s growing concern for an uncertain future.

Painting is an extension of her climate advocacy. As we are stricken with pandemic, climate emergency and social inequity that challenges the human species, Cooper is in pursuit of a creative vision for the inner change necessary to adapt.

Her paintings reflect real feelings—worry, fear, connection, strength—that become vivid manifestations of the life force inside the flesh and blood body.”  - https://www.nicolecooperartist.com/about

An insightful chat with the author of “The Standing Meditation”, Nate’s personal story about getting out of bankruptcy and depression with an ancient form of meditation from the Daoist tradition

Nate Rifkin | Author

Nate Rifkin wrote and published The Standing Meditation:

“Hour after hour, he contemplated suicide. How would he do it? Would it hurt? After dropping out of college, Nate Rifkin had dedicated himself to self-help and pursuing his entrepreneurial dreams. Yet he failed to achieve any of his goals. Worse, he spiraled into debt, drank every morning, felt lonely, lost, and hated himself.A few years later – after a brutal bankruptcy and a stint spinning signs on a street corner – Nate Rifkin had quadrupled his income, married the woman of his dreams, and found happiness and contentment. What made the difference? Oddly enough, Rifkin had discovered an ancient form of meditation that reversed his downward spiral and elevated him to levels of success he never dreamed possible.Candid and painful – but ultimately inspiring – The Standing Meditation will show you step-by-step how to perform this ancient meditation and introduce you to the mysterious spiritual tradition it comes from. You'll discover how to stop self-sabotage, eliminate self-doubt, and tap into an unlimited source of energy. This practice is not easy. It’s not pain-free. But it could transform your life.” - https://www.amazon.com/Standing-Meditation-Modern-Ancient-Practice/dp/1735825956/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1

Healing with colors and sounds, living a supernatural life, and making art.

Please take a look at Ashli’s art before you listen!  https://ashli.org/past-work/

Ashli England | Artist

“I recall being 7 years old melting crayons on the back porch and feeling affected by each color as they melted and explaining to my mother the colors made me do it. Un be known to us this would be one of my first investigations and self studies into Color. My works are created on Tondos with layers of watercolour, natural materials and agitated by tuning forks, creating boundless comprehension. My work serves to introduce experiences brought by color exposure and how they have proven effects on humans’ mental, physical and spiritual health.”
