Verify Registered Dietitian credentials in the United States here: https://secure.eatright.org/v14pgmlib/prd/cdrvfy001?spage=ICRED
Trina Pinkerton claimed to be a Registered Nurse, Registered and Licensed Dietitian, and Certified Diabetes Educator across multiple sites and allegedly accepted payment from patients who believed these credentials were legit. Once people in Trina’s circle started to question the legitimacy of her credentials, the credentials started disappearing from all her online profiles. Sus much? What are your thoughts?

I don’t know why I got so caught up in the myth for so long that my goal in life is to explore different things to find THE ONE thing I’m passionate about…I think I’m meant to enjoy the exploration of many things.
In this episode, I dive into the book Refuse to Choose by Barbara Sher and unpack the phrase “Jack of all trades, master of none”.
If you’ve ever felt like choosing a path means not only committing to doing that one thing forever and committing to never doing the other things that interest you…this one’s for you.

Dietitians already exist - USE US.
Ignoring the existing expertise of credentialed professionals risks further empowering unqualified influencers to speak louder than the science.
Leave your comments below on what you thought of the roundtable discussion, or the potential for requiring medical schools to include nutrition education, or whatever else came up for you while watching. I won’t ACTUALLY delete opposing commentary unless you’re being an ass. ;)

For me, fear of wasting “good” art supplies is one of those goofy things that sometimes gets in the way of getting started. If you’ve ever hoarded supplies, waited for the “right time” to create, or talked yourself out of making something because it might not be “worth it” this episode’s for you.Now go make some shit and I'll see you next time! ###Find me on Instagram and Threads @the.kerrminator between uploads.FREE Video Creator Workbook: https://www.thekerrminator.com/video-creator-workbookSend messages, comments, questions, suggestions to: [email protected] the FaceBook Group: /artistsandcreatorsindietetics Thanks for listening to the podcast!
