The Celtics fall to the Pacers 117-112 after an embarrassingly bad first quarter where we were outscored 42-22. The Celtics got out out to an 11-5 start and were super aggressive going after old friend Aaron Nesmith but it all came crashing down as the Pacers went on a 26-2 run following it. The Pacers dominance continued the rest of the first half where they built up a 30pt lead right before halftime. The ball and player movement in the first half was almost nonexistent and the Celtics relied very heavily on Tatum and Brown to get things going but that is when the Celtics offense is at its worst.

They did turn on the jets and outscore the Pacers 42-29 in the third and 27-17 in the third quarter but it wasn't enough. We saw a near perfect game from Tatum and really solid contributions from Timelord, Hauser and Brogdon but nobody else really showed up in this one. Jaylen Brown even broke his 21 game streak of scoring 20+ points in this one. The Celtics outrebounded the Pacers by 15 including 25 offensive rebounds, got to the FT line 16 more times than them, had 4 more fastbreak points and 2 more blocks than them but still lost. They say it is a make or miss league and that is exactly what happened in this one. The Pacers shot 46% from 3 and the Celtics only shot 31%. If you get that margin any closer the Celtics probably pull this one out but instead we are now losers of 3 straight.
